All-In for Altria
Kelsey Stoner is spending her summer in Richmond, VA as a brand management intern at Altria, a huge sponsor of PRISM. She is excited to be working with Marlboro, one of the largest brands in the world, on the Equity and Total Marlboro team. Her responsibilities include creating the 2020 strategy for a program that has existed for over 20 years, and an analytics project focused on the Marlboro website customer experience.

Maximum Opportunities
Alyssa Willis is also working in Richmond, VA this summer as a Logistics and Operations intern at CarMax.
Work & Play in Thailand
Patty Vitsupakorn landed a Marketing and Communications internship at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, the largest hotel in Bangkok. She is helping to oversee digital marketing for 3 properties, which involves promoting an upcoming event by producing videos, infographics, and inspired photos. After her internship she will be traveling around Thailand and Southeast Asia with her family.
“Some of my favorite projects this summer have been editing a wedding video, watching the TED conference we hosted, creating GIFs for our properties and writing blurbs to submit for the Marriott Social Media Awards.”
Keeping Up with KPMG
Andrew Luo is gaining experience as a Cyber Security Intern at KPMG based out of their Tysons Corner, VA office.
From Herndon to Hawaii
Kendyl Florence is interning at the Volkswagen headquarters in Herndon, VA and is also looking forward to a fun vacation.
“I’m hoping to sneak away to Hawaii with my mom and grandma, and get a tattoo with my other grandma!”
Agency Life in Alexandria
Laila Houser is learning about agency-style marketing as an intern for Yes&, a digital marketing agency located in Alexandria, VA.

Intern On-the-Go
Azita Peters started her summer as a Marketing Strategist for Flags of Valor, a veteran owned company in Ashburn, VA. She helped them to develop their social media strategy by planning and executing campaigns, and even got to attend an Under Armour event with the company. For the second half of her summer, she is interning with Pearson Education in Columbus, OH and attending their national sales meeting in Phoenix, AZ.
Big Ideas in the Big Apple
Adam Caporuscio is excited to be spending the summer in New York City as a design intern at FutureBrand.
Summer Study Abroad
Caitlin Nguyen studied abroad for a month with Virginia Tech's Pamplin Business and Culture in Europe program.
She got to explore cities in Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, and Germany while learning about different business operations.
Room to Grow
Izzy Cruz is a Graphic Design Intern at Grow, a creative innovation agency located in Norfolk, VA that does digital advertising and product design for brands like Adidas, Google and Spotify.
A Wealth of Knowledge
Kory Thomas is a Wealth Investment Management Intern at Wells Fargo in Newport News, VA.
In June, he had the opportunity to visit the Wells Fargo Advisors headquarters in St. Louis, MO where he met and learned from some of the bank’s leaders.
Data Analytics in the D.C. Area
Savannah Meredith is spending her summer as a Data Analytics Intern in the Single Family department at Freddie Mac in Tysons Corner, VA.
